This auction is for a rare authentic ancient Greek Seleucid bronze coin of Seleucis & Pieria, Antioch & Orontem, 100 BC-0 BC (over 2000 years old). On the obverse side: Head of Zeus. On the reverse side: Female seated dropping a pebble in a voting urn (a very rare coin showing a very early example of womens voting rights). This coin is in very good condition with beautiful patina. Measures 19mm in length. Found in Europe. Reference: Plant #709 (shown in picture 3).
