Antique wootz ? Engraved gold katar indopersian sword tulwar elephant on blade - $1,295 - (Marshfield, WI)

1. Katar 18 1/2 overall, unmessed with rare figural type. These are very expensive when bright and shiny ..this one priced low as heavily rusted and unrestored. Original goldwork present ..no restoration 70% intact on grip, less on blade as shown, both sides have a scene. Many of these when they come for sale have been cleaned and all goldwork lost. Blade probably wootz or pattern welded but hard to say due to condition item has no problems and is from a smoke free home. please watch for many vintage and nice items to appear in the next few weeks.
