Antique 1800s Cast Iron & Wooden Case Mantle Clock w/Applied Abalone Shell RUNS - $160 - (Farmington, CT)

For sale here is a beautiful mid 1800's cast iron face w/ applied Abalone shell decorations 8 day mantle clock. This is a good running clock that strikes on the hour only. It looks to be very original except that someone has touched up the gold to make it stronger on the front face. This is a heavy cast iron clock that may be Bradley & Hubbard but I don't see a makers mark on the clock, no sticker is on the back and the works are not stamped. Nice original metal dial face and hands. Strong running works. It is a runner and not fussy either. Very adjustable and does not need to be perfectly level to run. Measures 18" tall x 11" wide x 4" deep. Beautiful shells throw off a nice color splash. Thank you for looking! -Andrew
