No Limits! No Boundaries! Advocacy and Inclusion Conference - N.A. - (Shreveport, LA)

Families Helping Families Region seven will be hosting "The No Limits…No Boundaries Advocacy and Inclusion Conference" on April 19, 2018 at Sam’s Town Casino Ballroom. Our special guest speaker will be Mr. Dan Habib. Dan Habib is the creator of the award-winning documentary films Including Samuel which is about his son Samuel who has a disability, Who Cares About Kelsey?, Restraint and Seclusion: Hear Our Stories, and many other short films on disability-related topics. Dan Habib is a filmmaker at the University of New Hampshire's Institute on Disability. Including Samuel was broadcast nationally on public tv stations in the fall of 2009, and Who Cares About Kelsey? aired on public tv in the fall of 2013. Both films were nominated for Emmy awards. Including Samuel has been translated into seventeen languages and is used as a teaching tool worldwide.
