Yamaha Alto Saxophone YAS 61 recently repadded!! - $1,700 - (Richmond, CA)
A really great Yamaha YAS 61 purple logo Alto saxophone from the 1970's. This horn has recently been repadded with a mix of white and brown pads. The key work is tight and snappy with no slop. These were modeled after the Selmer Mark VI but with better ergo and intonation! There are some small dents as pictured, some have been removed but nothing significant. Lacquer wear is as expected. Pictures and description are an accurate representation of the horn. The horn comes in the original case that is solid and a generic alto mouthpiece. The Yamaha YAS 61 is a Pro level horn at a reasonable price. You may see others out there but most will need new pads... This is an honest player and the horn is ready to gig!
