Love Adventures #104 Complete 5-Page Story Early Marvel art is difficult to find; early complete stories even more-so. This story was published the same month as Amazing Spider-Man, for crying out loud! I can just imagine Hartley and Ditko walking into the Marvel office at the same time, ready to deliver their pencils to Stan. Ditko says nothing to Al, because he's likely re-reading Atlas Shrugged for the 12th time. OK... so this probably didn't happen. But maybe it could. Sure. This is a complete, five-page story -- the last one in the book -- pencilled and inked by Al Hartley. Hartley went on to do a lot of humor work for Marvel and Archie and other companies, but this is a straight-forward love story. No laughs here. "Why Doesn't He Love Me?" is the title. It's large sized (double-up what you see from the Bronze age forward) and in great shape. No white out or other corrections. I can certainly send additional photos if necessary.
