Tascam MD-02B Professional Minidisc Deck - $200 - (Waukesha, WI)
Tascam MD-02B Minidisc Deck. This is the last single deck from Tascam. It is Type-S which incorporates some playback enhancements for MDLP LP2 and LP4 modes. This deck sounds as good as it gets from Minidisc decks even against the Sony ES decks. The DAC is a 24bit also. The deck is in very good condition. The drive has been disassembled, cleaned and checked. The pictures show the wear on the cabinet which isn’t bad besides a slight dent/bend. The deck works on all inputs and outputs, Including the balanced. Records and plays back perfectly. NO REMOTE, sorry. Only issue is the dust flap where the disc is inserted is gone- it is just a plastic flap that moved both ways. Tried to find a replacement as it is easy to change out by just removing the front plate. No success in locating the replacement part. It sits back in a bit and really can’t tell if it is there or not. Can always just leave a disc there ejected to minimize any dust. Any questions please ask.
