RTT/AEG Microphone with LOMO 19a9 Preamp This is a limited edition microphone made by AEG in Moscow. We've reproduced the LOMO 19a9 preamp and paired it with a K47 type capsule. It features a faithful 19a9 preamp, using LOMO's unique circuit, and a vintage LOMO transformer. This microphone uses a NOS mil spec 6Z1p tube (aka EF95), this is the key to the tone and compression of this unique microphone. The preamp is hand built right on the tube socket, no printed circuit boards. The capsule is a cardioid, one sided capsule based on the K47. We think this pairing is idea, however if you're interested in swaping to the capsule of your dreams, we can swap it for your for no extra cost. By combining a handmade amplifier using vintage parts and AEG's advanced power supply in a vintage enclosure this microphone is amazing. This set includes, the microphone, a cable, and the power supply. To keep the price on this item low we've used some manufactured parts but it is hand assembled and custom made at the AEG workshop and uses new and vintage parts. We have only two of these currently and we made them as a labor of love. If they are popular we may make a few more, but for now this is a VERY limited edition. If you see other people selling AEG/RTT microphones and mods for more, keep in mind they are essentially the same microphones but on the second hand market, some people just like to take advantage of their reputation and rarity and resell them at inflated prices. These microphones are better than anything else in this price range, hands down. I am the only authorized internet seller for AEG/RTT microphones and this microphone is being sold directly from AEG. This microphone's power supply is 220v OR 120v This microphone comes with a 14 day trial period. We've sold a lot of microphones and NO ONE has sent one back, or been anything but happy.
