Shelley SHERATON 13290 Round Covered Vegetable Bowl Green Scalloped Edge Vintage - $89 - (Lufkin, TX)

Vintage Shelley Sheraton #13290 Covered Vegetable Bowl. Approximate size 5.75" tall including lid, 9" bowl diameter, 10.5" handle to handle.Scalloped edge, gold trim. A very beautiful pattern by one of the finest English porcelain companies. Hard to find in the Covered Vegetable Bowl. Please see pictures which are a part of this description. The underside of the lid has a tiny mark in the center, visible in picture #7. I suspect that this is a dot of gold paint, and it seems to be under the glaze. Note in this same picture that the inner rim of the lid is, of course, unglazed and shows some slight discoloration. The unglazed bottom rim in picture #8 shows color as well. This is normal and to be expected on fine bone china of this age. The glass pedestal and brass easel are display props and are not included in this sale.
