Georgian Cannetille Citrine Cross Pendant - $1,100 - (Hummelstown, PA)

This exquisite late Georgian cross pendant was hand fabricated in rich 18 karat gold. The cross is embellished with foil backed citrines accented by delicate cannetille ornamentation and beadwork. Measurements: 2 1/2" long by 9/16" wide (with bail)Weight: 13.2 gramsCondition notes: There are two citrines (top and bottom) with tiny chips. Some color differences in the stones can be seen due to fading and deterioration of the foil. The citrine on the left may be a replacement. Previously there was a brooch fitting on the reverse that has since been removed due to damage. A few of the cannetille flowers have losses to the spiral "petals".
