PMC LB1 Speakers - $1,200 - (Richmond, VA)
For sale is a pair of PMC LB1 speakers. I believe I am the second owner of these wonderful speakers. Very clear, articulate sound. And very hard to find. These are spec'd down to 38hz, thanks to the Transmission-Line design. I believe these are from when PMC was still using custom Dynaudio drivers, and they sound like it. Very clear. A few minor issues I have noticed: These came without bi-amp binding post bridges so I just cut my wire long to go through both sets of posts. There is a little hole in one of the transmission-line vent foams. Doesn't effect sound. One of the cover fabric is coming off a bit near top of grll. And there is an odd little fold in one of the tweeters, looks like a manufacturing issue, doesn't seeme to effect imaging at all. Asking $1200, but open to offers. I also have the one-sheet for them and the original box, minus packing foam. I am hesitant to use the original box due to age, but may be able to pack it in the shipment.
