FULL STRAND OF POST-NEOLITHIC OSTRICH SHELL BEADS. These were found the Western Sahara Desert of N. Africa, but their age is unknown. They could be only a few hundred years old or they could be much earlier. The strand contains about 25.5" of beads which run from 1/4" - 5/8" in diameter (6 - 15 mm) and about 1/16" thick, and I believe there are around 400 beads altogether. You will see that the beads are irregular in shape, not the uniform white rounds manufactured today. These are not "type" photos, these are the actual beads you will receive.
