Extremely nice for the grade VG-08 1796 (first year of issue) Draped Bust dime. This dime last sold at Heritage Auction in 2017 for $3995. Haven’t sent in to CAC but should be an easy green bean. Heritage described: 1796 10C JR-1, R.3, VG8 PCGS. The die break below star 1 attributes this first-year Draped Bust dime. Deep cream-gray and lavender toning encompasses both sides. All legends and stars are clear, and marks are inconsequential aside from a small field depression near Liberty's mouth and a tick atop the E in STATES.
