Pair of 19th Century Capodimonte Porcelain Figurines, circa 1830-1890 - $2,600 - (Pittsburgh, PA)

A pair of lovely sculptured Capodimonte figurines depicting the gathering of grapes and drinking of wine by children. There are very minor losses which one needs to look carefully to find. Extremely fine details in the vegetation, etc. Capo-di-Monte Ginori mark 1830-1890. This version of the Capodimonte mark, (five points representing a crown, but not drawn as a crown), was used by the Ginori factory in Doccia, Florence.
