HO Scale Brass Overland Models Southern Railway Bay Window Caboose # X224 F/P - $295 - (Knob Lick, KY)

Up for sale is a HO scale brass Overland Models Southern Railway bay window caboose. Road number X224. This model is very nice. The only issue that I am aware of is a very small paint chip on one side. It can be seen in the photos. Should be an easy fix or could be left alone. Other than that the caboose appears to be in very great shape. The "Yellow Belly" as Southern modelers call them, were used in local service and were equipped with solar panels to run electrical equipment because of frequent stops were axle generators were not adequate. This model is equipped with the solar panels. It has window glazing as well. This model is factory painted and is painted very well. It comes in an Overland box for a Southern Bay window caboose, but is not the correct box. It was bought by me that way. Better than nothing I guess. I wanted it mainly for safely storing the caboose. Here is your chance for a rare gem from Overland. Get it while you can. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thank you.
