Fortunately, there are various examples of the trace fossil associated with this genus, including this superlative footprint. The massive matrix housing the imprint has been secured in its custom steal and aluminum mount to allow for ideal display. This classic three-toed footprint is indicative of the bipedal theropod variety. The monster of a footprint measures a full 15 inches in length and is truly "Dinosaur size" leaving little to the imagination. This spectacular example from the noteworthy Connecticut River Valley has been highlighted to enhance the trackway and give it more contrast against the similarly colored matrix.
