Babolat Star 3 racquet stringing machine - $1,500 - (Murfreesboro, TN)

For sale is 1 used Babolat Star 3 stringing machine. Babolat's top of the line stringer back in the day. Still held in high esteem for it's bulletproof reliability and accuracy. I purchased this used from a tennis shop about ten years ago. I have used it sparingly since, it's been my backup. Hate to see her go, as I still enjoy stringing the occasional racquet on it, but need to clear out some space for a change in living arrangements. It calibrates separately at low and high tensions. According to my calibrator, it appears to be slightly off on the high calibration per pictures. There are plenty of calibration videos on youtube. I will calibrate it to my tension calibrator if so desired by buyer, or you can do it yourself, it is not difficult. Also, one of the head/throat retainers has a cracked plastic frame protector, it is taped down with electrical tape per photos. Does not affect anything, but that's just something you might want to replace. I have replaced the allen screws on the clamps with knurled screws so that you can tighten/loosen them by hand. Also included are the pictured throat adapters you will need for super oversize racquets. Comes with the original instruction manual, and there is plenty of information on this machine on youtube as well. I also have the original box this machine came in and the factory cover. It is in storage now, I will include with the machine. I am listing this as buyer pickup, as I have not yet researched shipping cost. If you are a serious buyer I am amenable to a discussion about shipping this machine. I intend to pack up the machine and weigh the box, at which time I will modify this listing with the freight information. Please let me know if you have any questions.
