Vintage R K Beck Buffalo Pottery Deer Set - $425 - (Bedford, PA)

R K Beck first gained fame as a wildlife artist. Besides painting canvasses, he created farm and forrest scenes for Buffalo Pottery between 1911 and 1914. Buffalo logo stamped on backs. A series of game fish and deer scenes was applied to plates by decals based on his original paintings. Beck's signature appears on the plates. This set includes: 6 plates measuring 9 1/8"W; 1 platter measuring 15 1/4"L × 11 1/4"W. Good condition, with the exception of age cracks and marks in the glazing.
