Very Old Upright Bass - $4,000 - (Atlanta, GA)

Very old full size upright bass. All solid woods. Approx 74" total height(not including end pin), string scale 42.5". The last owner opened up the F holes for some reason. I also purchased a kay from his estate that was altered the same way. The bass was originally a 3 string. It was later fitted with a neck with 5 strings. It presently has 4 strings(can add peg to make 5 string). There was a soundhole underneath the fingerboard that was closed. The bass plays very easily and has a great tone. With soft case. The last photo is profile next to a Kay C1 3/4 size. Local pickup only
