This bear is number 10 of the 110.Stuffed with wood shavings is made of the finest beige/black tipped mohair (gives it a bit of a grey look) with a handmade sealing-wax nose and hand painted boot button eyes.In his ear, he wears the exclusive stainless steel "Button in Ear" featuring the embossed edition name and an individually numbered woven label in elegant black with silver embroidery.All steiff limited editions come supplied in a cream printed Steiff presentation box.Steiff have been manufacturing bears and other collectable characters in their German Factories for over 125 years. As with all those characters made in the early days, it is still the manual skills and attention to detail that make each Steiff product wonderfully unique. Each Steiff bear is signified by a "Tag" in its left ear. PLEASE NOTE: There is no certificate of authenticity with this bear. I hand purchased him at an estate sale. He was briefly displayed.
