This Lowendahl cello is the perfect cello for students, young professional players, or those looking for a sturdy back up instrument for the occasional loud or outdoor gig. It is full size, hybrid (carved spruce top with plywood back and sides) cello, and has been professionally set up by the wonderful luthiers at Lashof Violins in Gaithersburg, Maryland. I played it all through high school and took very good care of it, playing it all over Maryland. I'm selling to help put myself through music school. The cello is fresh and ready to be played again, Bow has been repaired, and the cello comes with a durable black soft case.
