Rare Old BLACK AMERICANA CELLULOID Baby DOLL in Watermelon Egg JAPAN - $200 - (Fortuna, CA)

This is an auction for a Rare 1930's Black Baby doll in a Watermelon Egg. The doll is jointed at arms and legs and measures 2 5/8" in length. He comes in a Watermelon egg that is made of what I think is Paper Mache. And the watermelon measures 1 3/4" X 3 3/8". The doll is marked Japan Patent on his back and the amazing thing is he is holding a slice of Watermelon. I have not seen one that is quite like this. Seems to be Quite Rare!!!
