Vermeer 665A tow behind 65Hp stump ginder/ cutter Green Teeth system installed - $6,500 - (Sutherlin, OR)
I am selling a good working Vermeer 665A tow behind stump cutter / grinder It is powered by an air cooled Wisconsin D465 65 Hp V-4 gasoline engine It has a new set of Green Teeth pockets and cutting edges and a new duplex roller chain for the drive wheel. I borrowed this machine from my friend in SoCal on the basis that I would replace the cutting edges and fix what needed to be fixed do the work I needed to do and then sell it. He bought it from Orange County Public Works, it had 1274 hrs on non-working meter. I replaced it. It is still painted the ugly orange county equipment color I have removed about 10 stumps that were 16" up to about 28" with it and it does the job fast. I moved it around my property with a Case 450 tracked loader. I live on a hillside. But if you use it on relatively level ground, a pick up truck will do. Unfortunately I did not make a video at the time I was using it and Due to fire season restrictions I would not be able to demonstrate it on a stump. But we could start it an work all the functions.It is an older machine and could use some minor adjustments, but could be used right away with no real issues Tires seem to in good condition, It has electric brakes and a lunette style tow hitch.I towed it from Riverside CA to Roseburg OR with my Dodge and then around my yard with my Case 450 no problems CALL the number shown in one of the pictures and I can answer your question or arrange viewing I may end this sale at any time.
