Weber Mandolin - Custom Vintage "F" model - gently played - $4,150 - (Toms River, NJ)
This is a gently used Weber mandolin made by, and personally signed, by Bruce Weber. There are two minor "dents" where the bridge had been adjusted (hard to see in pictures). Other than that, the instrument is in great condition, has been gently played and has been stored securely in its case. A Weber hard-shell, form fitting case is included. There are small holes in the case where it appears that a shoulder strap was removed. I am a mandolin player and also own a Gibson Fern model. The only reason I am selling this mandolin is because I sustained a serious right wrist fracture requiring surgery to implant a plate and more than 8 screws! Since then, I am not able to play as I did before and playing is actually difficult/painful. A short audio clip (sound quality of the instrument) is available upon request. Special note: Bruce Weber sold his Weber mandolin brand/company and is no longer making instruments under that name. He is now operating under the name of "Montana Luthier". As a result, all new Weber mandolins are not made by him or signed by him.
