HAMM'S Beer Lighted Rippler Bar Sign 1950's Land of Sky Blue Waters This is a vintage Hamm's beer lighted, motion advertising sign. The sign was made in the 1950's and features the "rippler" effect, whereby a looping film inside passes by offsetting ripples on the image painted on the glass to make the water seem to wave and ripple. The scene on the top glass shows a fisherman with his canoe on a lake island. There is a narrow glass on the bottom with the Hamm's logo and the tag line, "From the land of sky blue waters." The Light and Rippler work as they should. The image on the glass has bubbled slightly, as is common on these signs (replacements are available here on ebay if you desire to replace), and there are a few scratches on the metal and plastic surfaces.
