Richard Fletcher vintage Renaissance LUTE, 6 course, very nice - $1,400 - (Mount Sidney, VA)

This is a handmade 6 course lute (with 12 strings), in a nice hard case. There is a tag inside that says Richard Fletcher, Roaring Branch, 1988. Another tag further over says repaired by R. Fletcher, 1990, 1993. Richard Fletcher is a well known lute maker from Roaring Branch, PA, and his instruments are greatly prized. This lute is great for playing Renaissance music, and good for beginner-intermediate, as the amount of strings are not too daunting. The instrument is in very nice condition except for a few very fine thin line crack repairs? at the bottom of the instrument which don't seem to affect it, so I think they are just repairs, and not new cracks. I don't want to ship this in the mail. You must come and see it by appointment. I have a booth at the Factory Antique Mall in Verona, VA at exit 227 off of Rt. 81. I can meet you there with the instrument by appointment.
