They are packaged in plastic between heavy cardstock to keep from being damaged during transit. Every order is marked DO NOT BEND and will take longer to arrive because they have to be hand sorted at the post office. Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery because of this, some orders may take longer but this is out of my control. Waterslide Decal Application Instructions - Caution Decal Paper is very fragile, Handle with care. Only apply decals to a model that has first been sprayed with gloss clear coat. This will give the decal a smooth finish to set onto. Once decals are applied you can spray the model with dull or gloss clear coat to give the desired finished look. Cut decals apart staying as close to the graphic as possible to reduce the clear film from showing when applied to the model.Soak decals in room temperature distilled water until film starts to lift off of backing paper but do not let backing paper come off completely.Once backing paper starts to separate from decal film, remove from water with backing paper still on. Use your finger to gently slide decal film around on top of backing paper. If decal film doesn’t release give it a minute or two and try again. This will allow you to transfer the decal to your model without risk of tearing or curling.Once decal film has released from backing paper, transfer it to your model and slide onto surface of model with a Q-Tip or your finger. If you use a toothpick or tool that has a sharp edge be careful not to slide where there is ink otherwise you risk scratching the ink off. Once decal is on your model you can slide it into place.
