Algiers, Charles Boyer/Hedy Lamarr 1938 press kit, great cover/rare golden age p - $120 - (Shippensburg, PA)

This auction is for a movie press kit for the film "Algiers" released by United Artists in 1938, starring Charles Boyer and Hedy Lamarr. It is 16 pages, and highlights include the front cover (which has become separated from the rest of the book - it was tidy separation though, and the cover still displays nicely - has some fold lines), and on the back a miniature sample-display of the poster that the theater could order to help promote the film. Also included is a press kit form the re-release of the same film in 1954, four pages. These items are in nice shape (even with the front cover having become separated) and were obviously taken care of. Supposedly this was the personal property of Actress Maureen O'Sullivan (she played Jane in the original Tarzan films, and was the mother of Mia Farrow), but I cannot verify this, nor can I find any connection that this actress had with the film (not sure why someone would fabricate this story though, using a somewhat obscure actress like Maureen O'Sullivan). Measures roughly 18 by 12. Study pics for further description, feel free to ask questions, but please do so BEFORE bidding.
