Spectacular and breathtaking Libyan Desert Glass Tektite mineral sample - $4,495 - (Daly City, CA)
I am a Gemologist for 28 years from GIA but always love minerals and crystals and I own this amassing specimen what I believe is "Libyan Desert Glass" (Tektite) its a very large sample, almost 10 inches in its largest length and abut 6 and 3/4 inches in its widest point, and 3 to 4 inches in its thickest point approximately. Weights also approximately 12.05 Lbs (5465.7 grams), it has beautiful snow like inclusions that I think are aggregats of alpha - crisobalite.
