The NDK Pilgrim is a responsive, fast and efficient kayak designed for the small or slim paddler who tire of edging or leaning standard width hulls. Its 20" width allows the lighter ease of holding the boat over on its edge and in its secondary stability. The narrow hull offers both quick acceleration to higher speeds while requiring far less effort to place and hold this kayak on edge. Though not a lot of rocker, its easily on the performance/play side of our paddling equation with its confidence inspiring secondary stability and stability. Its minimally effected by winds, easily turned on edge, and rolls like all NDK Greenland style kayaks. The Pilgrim fits the small kayaker due to its lighter paddler design and narrow beam, and also the taller, slim kayaker due to the knee bumps on either side of the cockpit. The higher knee provides increases leverage and power for the lighter weight paddler, while relaxing the ham strings and hip flexors with the higher knee height. It is fitted with the new third gen adjustable High performance composite seat in the wider width, NDK's smaller keyhole cockpit for excellent grip and control, low rear deck for easy rolling, and sloping bulkhead behind the seat for quick efficient emptying by simply lifting the bow, no x-rescue is necessary.
