The fine item you are considering is a Vintage Antique Lyon & Healy Eureka Model 4/4 Full Size 1090 Special Violin. This high quality vintage violin from Lyon & Healy is the Eureka model, dated 1920, with the label stating that it’s a “1090 Special”. It’s a full sized 4/4 instrument, with the body measuring 14” long and the overall length being 23 ½”. The violin is in solid shape, although there is what appears to be an original seam on the side that has raised a small bit, but which is still together. Also, as you can see from my photos, someone has scribbled on the inside paper label. Please note, while the original case is included, I do not have a bridge or a set of decent strings, so the violin will need to be set up and you’ll need a bridge and strings. Also, no bow is included. Please see my photos to have a look at this nice item.
