Very nice 4/4 violin by an unknown German maker, beautiful golden varnish, the violin is in very nice condition, with an expertly carved scroll. Has a 1” crack on the bass side of the saddle and one on the treble side that is just over 2”. Both appear repaired and solid.Violin has a very nice sound and is easy to play, on bright side but full of warmth. Violin has new pegs and Dominant strings were just installed, ready to play! Fantastic instrument for an advancing student! Will be shipped in an old case for shipping purposes only. This instrument would cost you over $2000 if you purchased in shop!
