Vintage toy tops FIBBER MCGEE AND MOLLY lot of 2 1930's - $80 - (Nebraska City, NE)

What a find! BOTH spinning tops advertising the "Fibber McGee and Molly" radio program which ran from 1935 to 1959. An advertisement prompted boys and girls to get their "2 Fibber McGee and Molly tops FREE" when they traced the words "JOHNSON'S WAX" from a bottle of liquid wax. Once they sent it in they would get their tops. The offer would expire, "May 30, 1936". This pair of tops both spin nicely and are in great condition. The colors are bright and crisp with wooden pegs painted red. The edge of the tops have "Parisian Novelty Co., Chicago" as place of manufacture. The flat disc tops measure 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" wooden peg.
