R. John Wright 'The Nursery Alice' 2006 - $1,250 - (Camp Hill, PA)
'The Nursery Alice' and her pig by R. John Wright are in very good to excellent condition with the original box and Certificate of Authenticity dated Feb 23 2006. The set is Number 121 out of 250. Nursery Alice has her tag attached at the back of her dress and the pig has the RJW gold button. Nursery Alice is about 17 inches tall. The pig is about 6 inches from the tip of his tail to the end of his snout. The pig does not stand on his four feet because his front legs are shorter than the back legs. The set was lovingly displayed by the previous owner, who I believe was the only owner. They were displayed out of direct sunlight and do not appear to have any fading. They were not in cabinets, but in spite of that they do not seem dusty to me. They are from a non-smoking home. They have no unpleasant odors that I detect. As far as I can tell the set is complete. Included are:Nursery Alice Piga small booklet with a drawing of The Nursery Alice on the front and information about the doll and the Alice series of dolls insidethe original box which does not have a label certificate of authenticity in R.
