RARE Art Deco WALTER VON NESSEN Chase PELICAN ASH RECEIVER Brass BIRD Ashtray RARE Art Deco WALTER VON NESSEN Chase PELICAN ASH RECEIVER Brass BIRD Ashtray Click image to enlarge Description - Offered is a rare Art Deco, enameled brass, "pelican" ash receiver designed by Walter Von Nessen for Chase Brass & Copper Company! - Stamped on the underside of the base is, "Patent Applied For Chase USA" along with the Chase centaur logo! - It is missing much of the white paint and continues to flake off, the inside of the beak is very worn, there are a couple of dents on his head, many small, shallow dents on his black enamel body and "Xmas 1934" is written in pencil on the underside of the base.
