Antique Copeland Majolica Persian Form Vase Pair Circa 1847 - $2,135 - (Stevensville, MD)

This is a gorgeous pair of Copeland majolica Persian form vases. The vases have incredible detail and are incredibly beautiful with florals, acanthus leaves, and multiple other designs. One of the vases has the impressed mark of Copeland and is marked "B." The other shows a mark which is difficult to read. I have found no cracks, chips, or losses of any kind which is remarkable for a pair of vases dating back to as early as 1847 (based on impressed mark). These are 11 3/4" high by 7 1/2" in diameter. I have been unable to find others quite like these, and believe them to be a rare example of Copeland Persian form vases.
