Extremely Early Production 111 Year old Carl Zeiss Jena Silvamar 6x30 Binoculars This listing is for a pair of vintage marked Carl Zeiss Jena German 6 X 30 Silvamar binoculars serial number 130953 which dates them back to late 1907. Many sites list the Silvamar production from 1910 to 1975 yet these clearly pre-date that demonstrating their rarity. They are the earliest version of the most famous Zeiss binocular model that I am aware of. They are in in rough shape, missing eye cups, chipped prism and lots of paint missing along with some dents. You don't see a lot of 111 year old Zeiss binoculars for sale and these were basically the first year of binocular production for their most popular model the Silvamar from this famous German optics manufacturer.
