Rare Albino Majolica Pitcher Shell and Yellow Seaweed circa 1880 - $300 - (Waterville, ME)

We are pleased to offer this wonderful example of Majolica dating to circa 1880s. It is a rare coloration form of a Shell and Seaweed Pitcher/Jug. Color is albino (off white to ivory) with yellow seaweed. It is beautiful and condition is amazing given its age and delicate edges. It has gold top edge trim. It is 5 1/2" high and is 8 3/4" from spout to handle. There is interior light crazing and a small spider line on the base which does not show through to the inside.
