Muncie Pottery started as a subsidiary of the German-American Clay Company. Muncie Pottery like so many of the other American art pottery companies closed its doors as a victim of the depression in 1939. This 8 1/4 inch tall 'Goldfish' vase was designed by well known glass designer Reuben Haley. The goldfish design is a copy of a well known Lalique fish vase. The deep, rich blue glaze over a green accents the design of the vase fairly well. Outstanding vase in exceptional original condition. Always sought after and highly collectible arts and crafts vase. Now is your chance to own your own. Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no scratches to glaze. FREE from crazing. Imperfections: stilt pull near base, sticker residue near base but has been cleaned ( last picture right side). Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process.
