Japanese 1980 white edition BATTLESTAR GALACTICA kit. Made when Monogram briefly sold their original kits molds to Bandai, later buying them back. Overseas kits are not shrinkwrapped, photos show contents still factory sealed. Unlike US kits, these were molded in white plastic, and also appears to contain a tiny tube of cement which many Japanese kits do. Photo #3 is a closeup, tube is seen poking out from under round stand base. Box has a tear on left side panel, otherwise in great condition for being 38 years old! Kit builds into a replica over 17" long of the last surviving battlestar. Instructions are in Japanese, just follow pictorial directions but if desired I have an old instruction sheet in English that can be included on request. Paint is not included.
