Vintage ~ Collectible ~ Michael J. Knoud Polo/Hunter Saddle ~ 18" - $200 - (Petaluma, CA)

This vintage custom saddle was likely produced in the 60's and sold at top saddleries that included M.J. Knoud's, Miller's, and Kauffman's. M.J. Knoud's was known for their custom craftmanship. It was also taken care of, as the damage is minimal for a saddle of this age. The tree, leather, and stitching is very good with 2 areas that can be restitched. There is a M.J. Knoud riding habit donated by the Hearst family displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in N.Y.
