This item is an adaptation of the kubotan, a discrete, tactical self-defense baton for men and women that measures 5 ½" long rod originally used in martial arts. It is intended to deter or incapacitate an assailant. It can be used for hammerfist strikes, hardened fist punches, pressure point attacks, or flailing strikes. Many options are available to personalize this product. We offer two grip styles, in either stainless steel or aluminum, with multiple finishes available. On our stainless steel models, you can choose multiple finish options: 1) all machined surfaces, 2) a satin grip with machined ends, or 3) satin ends with a machined grip. Two keychain end styles are also available: a ball style (that matches our aluminum models) and a wedge style (exclusive to our stainless steel models). This particular listing is for a stainless steel model, dimple-style grip, ball end, with satin ends and machined grip finish. The second and third pictures show a comparison of the ball and wedge style ends. The fourth picture is provided as a comparison of the dimple- vs grenade/channel-style grips. All of our kubotans are CNC machined using a horizontal turning center, have a contoured grip, and measure 5 1/2" long, regardless of options/style. Each of our kubotans also come with an adjustable paracord wrist lanyard, which is used to maintain positive control of the baton (see fifth and sixth pictures).
