Tajfun regulator Czechoslovakian made vintage scuba unit w diving tanks and bag - $199 - (Cincinnati, OH)

I don't know anything about this eastern block dive gear. It appears to be a scuba unit with two small HEAVY steel tanks housed in a bag. The second stage is mounted in a horse collar like velcro closed BCD. If I was to guess I would think this was a tank or helicopter egress unit, but I am just guessing. Maybe it was used during the cold war to sneak up on the US forces..... If you know what this is or have some info please let me know and I will update the auction. This is not Soviet made but may be CCCP inspired, who really knows?It appears unused NOS, but assume that it does not work and needs rebuild before use. A bidder advised me that this is a Czech military armored vehicle egress unit used in conjunction with the standard gas mask. So I guess if you are in an army tank that goes underwater this helps you get out and to the surface. I am not sure if this is inspired by a Soviet design or it is real Czech design. Either way this is a cool cold war relic perhaps? I do not think this is a rebreather. Skoda
