Handmade Nantucket Basket with stationary handle. One that I made. These baskets are common on Nantucket Island where they were first made many years ago. Width; 8 inches. Base width 4.75 inches Basket height (not including handle); 3.5 inches. Height with handle; 8.75 inches. Handle; White Oak. Base is Cherry. Makers stamped mark is on base. Basket made of reed and cane.
