(I forget which country). The cotton is a thick sort of canvas type weave but softer than canvas. No holes no stains no odor. nonsmoking home. Photos show fabric folded so you can see all of it. Measures 34 inches x 164 inches (5 yards). At one end there is a thin embroidery area and near it there are areas of thin white stitching on each side (see photo where my hand is).Shipped priority mail, I had them weight it at the PO this is cheapest way
