Antique Hendryx Brass Bird Cage & Stand The Hendryx Brass Bird Cage is marked on a brass tag on the door & on the bottom of the brass tray: "HENDRYX". The Brass Bird Cage is Rectangular Shaped with a door that "springs" closed. 3" brass wire covers the bottom edge of the cage. Covering each end of the cage is a Brass Door with Heart Design. These doors push up in order to feed & water the bird. No feeder or waterer included. The Brass Tray on the Bottom has edges that are tilted up. This will help keep bird seed inside the cage. There is a metal tray that fits inside the brass tray for cleaning. The front edge of the tray is Brass with a Brass Pull. The metal tray pulls out for cleaning. This is a very ornate & beautiful Hendryx Brass Bird Cage. The Hendryx Brass Bird Cage comes with a Hendryx Brass Bird Cage Stand. The Holder is slightly Oval. The weighted bottom of the Bird Cage Stand is marked: "THE A.B. HENDRYX CO. NEW HAVEN CT MADE IN U.S.A. 229". Approximate Measurements: 64" tall; Oval Cage Holder: 22" x 23" THE BIRD CAGE & STAND WILL BE SHIPPED IN THREE (3) SEPARATE BOXES TO PREVENT DAMAGE. THE BIRD CAGE STAND WILL BE SHIPPED APART. Condition: Used condition with scruffs & scratches consistent with use & age. Some of the wires are slightly bent. The Hook on the bell/cage holder on top of the bird cage is bent. Metal tray inside the brass tray is rusty. The brass tray has a hole near the center on the front side. Bird cage & stand need to be cleaned & polished, if desired.
