Vintage Log Cabin Quilt squares 63 plus - $48 - (Plainfield, IL)
64 finished vintage (1930's/1940's fabrics) quilt squares. About half have been hand sewed and the original hand sewer was pretty good. You will need to make a few adjustments to a few of the squares. The other half are machine sewed and the strips were cut with a rotory cutter so they are nicely squared. This is the Log Cabin (+/- 9") design that can be sewed together in many different ways. Use them to make a quilt, runners, or pillows. There are also an additional 16 squares that are unfinished. The rest of the original fabric is included as well as scraps. This fabric is in excellent condition . It was not cut from old, used fabrics, but still looks "new". The quilt strips have been sewed to a muslin background (although, the muslin is yellowed) . There is even a hand written note telling you to tear the 1" strips. There is NO bad smell to these squares. I have a smoke free, pet free home.
