The only difference is that the Total Blender has 6 pre-programmed cycle buttons in addition to pulse and variable speed. The HP3A includes 25 programmed blending cycles. There are 4 preset buttons, so you can choose your favorites, and the menu still gives access to all cycles. Variable speed and pulse blending is still included. The included FourSide Jar is ideal for most users who need to process both small and medium-large batches.
