Jumbo 10 CGC 5.0 OW/W Great Rare Lou Fine Comic 1939!! - $5,000 - (Novato, CA)
Only 16 Blue Label copies certified by CGC to date, of which only 12 exist in this grade or better. Fabulous appearing 5.0 with superb page quality. One f Fine's best covers, and a sci-fi one at that! Fine's sci-fi covers are so otherworldly and great that they defy the imagination.This book has it all inside too: an 8 page Lou Fine Stuart Taylor Weird Supernatural story, plus 5 pages of Lou Fine doing Wilton of The West, an 8 page Bob Powell Sheena story, and an 8 page Spencer Steel plus 11 page The Hawk by Eisner (all references according to the Grand Comics Database). It just doesn't get any better or rarer in a Golden Age comic. A CGC 5.5 OW/W copy recently was sold through Heritage for $3840.
