Gorgeous plein air original watercolor painting of autumn, dating to the early 1960's. Watercolor is on Bainbridge Illustration Board. Painting is signed BHS. She once resided in Cape Cod and painted plein air paintings in New England, mainly Cape Cod and Massachusetts. Condition is good to fair and clean. Top of painting shows some frays. Blank margins are in fair condition. Blank margins shows some wear as artist used tape to paint her watercolors, so the edges would be even. Blank margins have some paper frays from removing the tape. Blank margins are distressed and show some age, specifically top blank margin.
